We are holding a Grassroots course for all our coaches, managers and parents who wish to learn more about the FFA football philosophy and basic training drills.
The course will be run by Football Gold Coast’s Regional Development Officer, Jason Maguire.
The course will be held on –
Wednesday, 18th July, 5.30pm to 7.30pm

There will be no goalkeeper training till the end of the school holidays
Goalkeeper training will recommence
Monday, 16th July
As we move in to the second half of the 2018 season, we will be transitioning into phase II of the SEP. Mini Roo Training will be condensed to allow our DOC to now work with our competition aged coaches and teams.
This will begin from Monday, 25th June.
What this means:
Mini Roo Training – We encourage all teams and coaches to attend these training sessions to learn new skills. You are welcome to attend even if your team doesn’t. (Coaches – please bring your ball kit)
Competition Age Training – Our DOC will be assisting coaches and players during their training sessions (Monday & Wednesday after 5.30pm and from 5pm Tuesday & Thursday). Coaches are welcome to contact Fraser to set up times.
Goalkeeper Training- Brett will continue training goalkeepers as per usual. This is another club resource we hope all aspiring keepers will attend.
The training above is FREE to all Club Members
Ages 3-5 SEP – As we come to another successful end of our second 8 week Ages 3-5 SEP, we will continue with a third round in the next term. Details will be posted shortly.
Please ensure that your team sheet photo’s are up-to-date.

PHOTOS ON TEAM SHEETS IS MANDATORY
You risk losing points and paying fines (remember, all team fines are passed on to the team and they will forfeit games until the fine is paid)
Uploading photos is easy –
- Take a photo of your player with your phone.
- Select ‘My Teams’ on MyFGC.com.au
- Click the ‘View/Edit Player’ on the far right
- Click ‘Browse’ and select the photo
- Click ‘Upload’
If you are having issues, come to the clubhouse on Tuesday or Thursday after 5.30pm. Do not leave it to game day, we are busy with running the games and wont be able to help.
The finalisation of the girls division split has be completed.
Games for this weekend are set and ready to go but all other games are subject to movement. Football Gold Coast have had several queries in relation to the ladder for each competition, please be advised that the ladders will not be updated until everything is finalised with the draw.
Division split is –
- Under 12 Girls are now Under 12 Div 2 Girls
- Under 13/14 Girls are now Under 13/14 Div 1 Girls
- Under 15/16 Girls are now Under 15/16 Div 1 Girls
All Coaches, Managers and Bench Officials will require their lanyards from this weekend at Mudgeeraba Soccer Club.
Focus will be on Under 10’s to Under 18’s.
If you do not have a lanyard you will be asked to leave the technical area.
There are still some lanyards waiting collection at the clubhouse.
Clubhouse is OPEN Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5.30pm
Coaches & Managers who’s lanyards were not available for collection, your lanyards have arrived.
You can collect your lanyards from the Main Clubhouse after 5.30pm for the rest of the week.
If you have not uploaded a photo on MyFootballClub, your lanyard will not be here. You will have to upload a photo and organise printing and collection with Football Gold Coast.
Coaches and Manager Lanyards are available for collection. All bench officials will be required to have their lanyards for this weekends games.

We now have player of the match awards for our competition aged players.
These can be collect from the clubhouse Friday night and Saturday mornings or Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5.30pm.
