Upcoming Coaching Courses

The club is holding these sessions as part of our implementation of the Junior Development Program, ‘The Mudgee Way’.

Mini Roo (Under 6 to Under 11) Coaches Meeting

Tuesday, 5 March, 6pm

ALL MINI ROO COACHES MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING

On this night all our Mini Roo Coaches will be participating in their Grassroots Training Course. After completing the course, coaches will receive their training kit (Ball, cones, bibs & workbook). Even if you have already attained your Grassroots Certificate you are still required to attend.

Anyone else wishing to have a better understanding in the development of players and philosophy of football are welcome to attend.

Skill Training Course

Our Coaches Skill Training Course will be held on:

Part 1 – Tuesday, 2 April, 6pm

Part 2 – Thursday, 4 April, 6pm

ALL COACHES TAKING TEAMS IN UNDER 9, 10 & 11 MUST ATTEND BOTH THE EVENINGS.

Other Mudgeeraba coaches in other age groups are welcome to attend. The club will be covering the fee for Mudgeeraba Coaches attending the course.

Game Training Course

The dates for the game training course will be discussed during the Competition Aged Coaches meeting held on Monday, 4 March, 6.30pm.

All coaches who have not attained their Game Training Certificate or higher will be required to attend. Mudgeeraba Coaches in other age groups are welcome to attend. The club will be covering the fee for Mudgeeraba Coaches attending the course.

More Trials Next Week

Just a reminder that the General Trials (For Under 12+ for lower divisions) and Kangaroo Trials (Under 9, 10 & 11 top tier team) start next week.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED ON PLAYFOOTBALL.COM.AU TO BE ABLE TO TRIAL.

If you are not registered you will be unable to trial.

If you have not attended the JPL/Div 1 trials you will be required to attend the General Trials to be graded and placed in a team.

The Kangaroo trials are for players wishing to play in the top tier team in their age group. If you do not wish to play in the Kangaroos, you only need to attend Team Allocations to be placed in a team.


Come Try Day

Unsure if your child will enjoy soccer?

Want them to have a kick before you sign on?

We will be having a Come Try Day on Friday, 1st February from 5.30pm at the Main Clubhouse off Tallai Rd.

There will be a training session setup (Grassroots Level) where your child can join in and for parents to see how sessions will be structured this year.

Members of the committee will be available for you to ask questions.

JPL/Div1 Trials Begin Next Week

Trials for JPL/Div1 for the Under 12 to 18’s begin next week, Monday 14th January. The trials will be held on the junior fields (Field 3) across the road from the main clubhouse.

Days and times for trials are on the calendar below.

Please arrive 15min prior to start time so we can sign in players for trials, at the tent. Sign in is only for trials, it is not registration to play for the club. To register to play for Mudgeeraba Soccer Club players will need visit the Playfootball website.

The trial starting next week, and going for 3 weeks, are for players wishing to trial for the top tier teams in their age group.

Players that are selected for the JPL/Div1 teams will need to register to play by Monday, 4th February or forfeit their spot in the team.

If you are unable to attend these trials, due to holidays, please email the Director of Coaching, Aldo, with your details so he can note you absence – coaching@mudgeerabasoccer.com

General trials (division 2 down) begins Monday, 4th February. All players trialing for these divisions must be registered to play with Mudgeeraba Soccer Club on the Playfootball website prior to attending trials. If you are not registered you will be unable to trial.

All players in the competition age group (Under 12 to 18) will need to attend either of the above trials to be placed in a team.

These trials are not for Under 6’s to Under 8’s. These ages only need to attend team allocation which begin Monday, 25th February.

The Under 9 to 11 player’s wishing to trial for the top tier team (Kangaroos) in their are age group begin their trials on Thursday, 7th February. Players trialing for Kangaroos must be registered to play for Mudgeeraba Soccer Club on the Playfootball website.

If you are a player in the Under 9 to 11 age group and do not wish to trial, you will only need to show up to team allocations which begin Monday, 25th February.

Please bring shin pads and boots for trials.

 

 

Mini Roo Compulsory Training Nights

As part of the implementation of ‘ The Mudgee Way‘, all Mini Roo Teams (Under 6 to Under 11) will have to attend a MANDATORY training night.

Our Director of Coaching, Aldo,  will contact your coach before training to inform them what skill will be required to be taught during training. All coaches will have sessions plans given to them to work through during the season. Aldo will be at the training sessions to assist coaches.

The training nights are:

  • Under 6, 7 & 8 – Wednesday Nights
  • Under 9, 10 & 11 – Monday Nights

We encourage all teams from Under 8’s to 11’s to have an extra nights training.

2019 Registrations are now OPEN

Registrations are now OPEN for 2019 season.

Please read this entire post before registering.

Even if you had registered last year, you will need to re-register again for the 2019 season.

When registering, please be aware of the follow:

  • This registration information is NOT for NPL Girls
  • If previous years are anything to go by, the servers are generally full during the day because players across Australia are registering. The best times to register are early and late in the day.
  • You are now able to link all your children under the one account.
  • Be sure to check that you have selected Mudgeeraba Soccer Club Inc. as your club, NOT Mudgeeraba Soccer Club Inc. – NPL
  • On the ‘Product Select ‘ screen,  Role is Player, Football Type is Club Football & Playing Level is Community.
  • ALL players will need to have a new photo uploaded.
  • We would prefer that payments are made at the club. You will still need to come to the club on Sign On days to collect your uniform. Please select ‘Submit and Pay Later’ option.
