How do I know what age group my child will be in?
The player’s age-group is the age they turn at their birthday in the calendar year they play. For example, any player turning 10 between 1 January & 31 December 2014 will play in Under 10 (U10) for the 2024 Season.
Do you accept Get Start / Fair Play Vouchers?
Yes, the club accepts FairPlay vouchers. These can be redeemed at checkout.
When are games played?
What nights are training?
Will I need to travel for games?
Games are played home and away. For younger age groups the fixtures are usually locally,
eg. Robina, Nerang, Burleigh, Palm Beach etc. The older age groups may need to travel a bit
further, eg. Ormeau, Runaway Bay, Tamborine, Murwillumbah. This all depends on the
number of teams in the local competition.
Some fixtures may have Mudgee v Mudgee games. To avoid a clash in playing strips, we
encourage the away team on the fixture (the second team on the fixture) to wear their
team’s colour for that week’s game. For example, Mudgeeraba U7 Blue vs Mudgeeraba U7
Red – Red is the away team and should wear that colour as their playing strip. For the next
round the other team (Blue) will be the away team. For our competition aged teams, an
alternative strip is available for loan from the clubhouse.
The Club will strive to supply referees for all games. However, in the event that we cannot
supply a referee, we will ask the coach to referee the game.
Can we nominate to play with friends?
We will try and place friends together, however, if they are trying out for the advanced teams (Kangaroos, or JL ) it may not be possible to keep friends together. Please advise your preference for teams when competing your registration.
