Help make a difference. Share your passion. Be part of the Mudgeeraba Soccer Club community.
As we prepare for the 2027 soccer season, Mudgeeraba Soccer Club is calling on parents, players, former players and community members to put their hands up and get involved as coaches and team managers.
Grassroots soccer relies on people who are willing to give their time, share their knowledge and help create a positive experience for players of all ages and abilities.
You don’t have to be an expert or have years of coaching experience. What matters most is your enthusiasm, commitment and willingness to help players learn, develop and enjoy the game.
Why Become a Coach?
Coaching is about much more than teaching soccer skills. It’s an opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young players.
As a coach, you’ll help players develop important life skills such as teamwork, communication, discipline, resilience and confidence. You’ll see them improve, overcome challenges, build friendships and discover the enjoyment that comes from being part of a team.
It’s also a fantastic way to share your passion for soccer, contribute to the local community and be part of something rewarding.
The satisfaction of seeing a player grow in confidence, develop their skills or score their first goal is hard to beat!
The Important Role of a Team Manager
Every team benefits from having a dedicated Team Manager to support the coach and help keep things running smoothly.
Team Managers play an important role in coordinating team communications, sharing information between the club and families, assisting with team organisation and helping ensure players and parents stay informed throughout the season.
You don’t need soccer experience to be a Team Manager. Organisation, communication and a willingness to help are the most important qualities.
You’ll Be Supported Along the Way
We understand that volunteering can feel like a big commitment, particularly if you’re new to coaching or managing a team.
At Mudgeeraba Soccer Club, you won’t be expected to do it all on your own.
Our Director of Coaching and club committee will provide support and guidance throughout the season, helping coaches and managers deliver an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Get Involved for the 2027 Season!
Trials, player assessments and team grading are taking place now as we begin preparing teams for 2027.
Pre-season training is expected to commence in late January or February 2027, with the season kicking off in March for most teams.
Now is the time to express your interest and help us prepare for another great year of soccer at Mudgeeraba.
Whether you’re an experienced coach, a parent willing to lend a hand, a former player or someone looking to get involved in the community, we’d love to hear from you.
Great teams don’t just happen. They’re built by people who care.
